NWG Academy coaches and teachers are selected from former World and European competitors and champions who share their great passion and energy for their sport. Our experienced coaches and team are fully qualified, DBS checked, first aid qualified and insured.
NWG Academy run classes at local venues and schools throughout London. We also offer private 1:1 tuition and online classes from beginner to advanced. NWG Academy classes are for children aged 3 ½ years old & upwards and our Ballet for adults up to 80yrs old.
Inspired by Olga Korbut at the age of five, Svetlana pursued her dream of becoming a gymnastics champion. By 12, she was representing St Petersburg in the USSR Championships, winning multiple medals. Her success led to her selection for the USSR National Junior Team, where she competed internationally before joining the Senior Team.
Now, as Head of Gymnastics at NWGA, Svetlana focuses on nurturing young talent, believing in the power of hard work and individualised training. She values the supportive and positive environment at NWGA and advises parents to encourage their children through both successes and challenges.
